Hotel Pearl Dunes Pvt. Ltd. collectively known as The Dunes Hotels is promoting by an NRI group headed by Mr. K M Abdul Latheef as its Chairman and Managing director. The group is having multiple businesses which include Hyper Markets, Textiles, Automobile, Steel, Shipping & Oil companies in the middle- east; educational institutions in North Kerala; Shopping malls in Karnataka.

The company is incorporated in the year of 2006 and opened its own hotel, The Dunes Cochin, Ernakulam, in 2013 with an inventory of 73 rooms having corporate & leisure facilities. The company then undertook major expansion in 2015, by launching 3 more hotels in the same brand.

The company chartered a 3-Star facility hotel under the same brand, having 55 rooms. The group owned and constructing a 5-Satr facility hotel in Alwaye, with more than 100 rooms, Conference facilities for 1500 Pax and dining facilities. The company's invested in a project at Bekal is having multiple convention centers, club houses, and 5 Star Facility hotel.
